Robert Pattinson and Zendaya fans have a lot to look forward to in 2026: the actors will appear in three movies together this year
Pattinson and Zendaya's wedding-themed drama The Drama hits theaters April 3; they also both appear in Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, in theaters July 17
The pair of actors will wrap up 2026 with Dune: Part Three, out Dec. 18, which sees Pattinson join for the trilogy's third entry
Robert Pattinson and Zendaya have been putting in work together, and it's paying off: the stars will appear in three movies together this year.
"It’s so nice. She’s great. I really, really like her. And yeah, she’s incredible in The Drama as well and in all of them," Pattinson, 39, told GQ of Zendaya, 29, an interview published Friday, Jan. 23.
The first of Pattinson and Zendaya's three movies to release this year, as the actor alluded to, is The Drama, in which the actors portray a "happily engaged couple [who are] put to the test when an unexpected revelation sends their wedding week off the rails," according to A24's official synopsis for the movie. Little is known about the movie's plot; a trailer for the film released in December shows the two in character as Emma and Charlie attending events in preparation for their wedding and makes it clear that something in their relationship is amiss. Pattinson and Zendaya were previously photographed spending time together on The Drama's set in Andover, Massachusetts back in November 2024.
After The Drama, Zendaya and Pattinson will both appear in Christopher Nolan's upcoming epic The Odyssey. Pattinson portrays Antinous, one of the characters who vies for Penelope's (Anne Hathaway) hand in marriage with title character Odysseus' (Matt Damon), two decades away from his home island, Ithaca, during the Trojan War and journey home afterward. Zendaya will portray Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom and warfare, in the movie, according to Empire magazine. (Zendaya's real-life fiancé Tom Holland also stars in the movie as Telemachus, Odysseus' son.)

"Well, I haven’t seen what she did in The Odyssey," Pattinson admitted of Zendaya's role in the movie, while speaking with GQ. "I just saw her pictures and we saw each other in passing."
Once The Odyssey hits theaters over the summer, all attention turns to Dune: Part Three, the pair's third and final movie together in 2026. Zendaya portrays Chani, the love interest to Timothée Chalamet's lead character, Paul Atreides, in the epic trilogy; the new movie is based on author Frank Herbert's 1969 novel Dune Messiah. Pattinson's role in the movie has not yet been confirmed.

"You’ll never experience these things in any other profession. I mean, literally, I was experiencing things which hardly anybody in history has or will ever experience and it’s just absolutely incredible," Pattinson told GQ of shooting Dune: Part Three. "Being out in the desert shooting Dune, it’s weird. I remember shooting a scene with Zendaya, the first scene we shot together out in the desert, I’m like, 'Oh! We’re, like, in Dune!' And she’s like, 'Yeah… we’re doing a Dune movie.' But it really was like, 'It really feels like you’re in a Dune movie.' It was really, really fun."
The Drama hits theaters April 3. The Odyssey is in theaters July 17, and Dune: Part Three is in theaters Dec. 18. Zendaya will also star in this year's Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which releases in theaters July 31.
