Ray J was knocked out in a celebrity MMA match months after claiming he didn't have long to live.
On Saturday, May 23, the rapper and TV personality (whose real name is William Ray Norwood Jr.) faced off against YouTuber Supa Hot Fire at livestreamer Adin Ross' UFC Apex event in Las Vegas.
However, per TikTok footage captured by Overtime, Ray J, 45, received a blow from Supa Hot Fire (real name Dewayne DeShawn Stevenson) that knocked him out and quickly ended the second round.

While Ray J was able to get back up, he then had to sit on a stool. The referee ended the match soon after.
In an interview shared on X post-match, Ray J appeared to tease that there was a plan for the match that Supa Hot Fire didn't follow.
“Damn bro … like that? For real … that's janky as f–k,” the "Sexy Can I" artist told his opponent. “I don't want to say too much because I don't want to get nobody in trouble, but damn … we took an L tonight.”
He then added, "You know how much money we lost? Wow … wow.”

In January, Ray J claimed he had months to live after he had been recently hospitalized for contracting pneumonia and experiencing heart pain earlier that month, per Daily Mail,
During an Instagram live, which was later reshared on X, he said, "2027 is definitely a wrap for me." Ray J further added that doctors told him he would not live long. He said his heart had turned "black" due to abusing alcohol and drugs and claimed he felt "invincible."
He later shared an Instagram video thanking fans for their support during his health issues.

"I want to thank everybody for praying for me," Ray J began. "I was in a hospital. My heart's only beating like 25 percent, but as long as I stay focused and stay on the right path, everything will be all right."
He continued, "My health is not okay, so I thank everybody for supporting and praying for me."
In 2021, PEOPLE previously reported that Ray J also experienced a bout of pneumonia and was admitted to a Miami hospital for treatment.
During a Feb. 14 concert, Ray J sparked concern when he was seen performing with bleeding eyes and a chest monitor.
Days later, he addressed the situation in a Facebook video, telling fans to "forget what you're hearing."
"Forget what they're talking about. Forget what you're hearing. Thank you for your prayers," Ray J said. "Thank you for your love. And again, all we can do is get better. Salute, I love you."
The performance resulted in both concern and criticism, as photographer Tommy Nard II claimed to news outlet KTAL 6 that Ray J applied "fake blood and things like that" during the gig.
Nard II claimed that "anybody that knows him, it's all theatrical."
On Feb. 18, Ray J's manager Melinda Santiago refuted Nard II's statement to PEOPLE.
"The bottom line is Ray J has been in and out of the hospital dealing with health and heart issues. That is a fact. Another fact is that the meds that Ray is on have some side effects," she wrote in the statement at the time.
Additionally, Ray J's wife Princess Love commented that the blood "wasn't fake" on an Instagram post about the photographer's claims, per The Jasmine Brand.
