Scores of fans have long dreamed about taking a seat at a *Survivor* Tribal Council or feasting their eyes on a hidden immunity idol. Now those dreams can be at least semi-fulfilled as ** can exclusively report that a major new *Survivor* exhibit is coming to the Paley Museum in New York City.
Timed to coincide with the franchise’s landmark *Survivor 50* (which premieres Feb. 25 on CBS), “Outwit, Outplay, Outlast: Celebrating 50 Seasons of *Survivor” *will open Feb. 20 and run through May 31 and is presented in collaboration with CBS, Pluto TV, and Amazon MGM Studios.
As for what awaits fans at the exhibit, the Paley Museum notes that, “Highlights of the experience for visitors will include Instagrammable moments with a *Survivor *torch and the chance to take a seat at Tribal Council and reenact the show’s dramatic votes; authentic outfits from host Jeff Probst and *Survivor *castaways, as well as immunity idols and necklaces, a torch snuffer, and other rare game pieces; original sketches of legendary *Survivor* props, logos, and sets; behind-the-scenes photos and videos highlighting the most memorable and impactful moments in the series’s history; screenings of classic *Survivor *episodes in The Paley Museum’s Bennack Theater; and more.”
Personally, the sketches of *Survivor* props, logos, and sets have us most intrigued, but maybe that’s just because we are super nerdy. Then again, I guess that makes us the exact target audience.

And if you were hoping to come face-to-face with the host and famous players from the past, you can do that too! That’s because the Paley Museum is hosting a big red carpet event on Feb. 24 titled “The Tribe Has Spoken: An Evening with Jeff Probst and *Survivor 50 *Castaways.” Not only will attendees get to watch Probst mix up with legends of the game, but there will also be “an exclusive extended first look at the *Survivor 50* premiere.” (Oooooh, early access!)
The panel will also include "an entertaining discussion about the new season, *Survivor *secrets, and behind-the-scenes stories from the show’s unprecedented twenty-six-year run."
Before the panel begins, the museum will be hosting a reception with *Survivor 50* contestants like Aubry Bracco, Cirie Fields, Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick, Ozzy Lusth, and Benjamin "Coach” Wade. Tickets to the event are open to the general public on Sunday, Jan. 25, at noon ET.

As for the exhibit itself, the Paley Museum notes that “this immersive exhibit will bring the show to life with memorable props and iconic artifacts spanning the series’ run, offering the unique opportunity to relive *Survivor’s* most unforgettable moments and engage with the show in a whole new way.”
And the exhibit will be free for Paley members, meaning not all attendees will be required to dig deep… into their pocketbook.
