Kate Beckinsale sparked serious fan concern with a cryptic message as she wiped her Instagram grid clean.

On Sunday, September 20, the English actress, 53, posted an Instagram photo featuring a black background and a single word in white lettering: “bye.”

She also posted on her Instagram Stories in all lowercase, “Congratulations, you won. I give up.”

Beckinsale seemingly deactivated comments on her remaining IG post, prompting fans to sound the alarm on X. “Someone check on KateBeckinsale now please,” one wrote, alongside screenshots of the alarming updates.

Another X user shared, “In the off-chance someone who follows me has the ability to check in on KateBeckinsale, it would probably be a good idea to do that now. I hope this just means she’s quitting social media, but.”

Someone else echoed on X, “Is she OK? I hope she’s just quitting social media…”

A different X user speculated, “She’s probably just being overly dramatic as usual, but just in case, someone needs to call a 5150 in on KateBeckinsale. Assuming it’s not too late.”

Meanwhile, yet another fan commented on X, “I hope someone who knows KateBeckinsale is doing a welfare check on her. I hope she will be okay, she’s been through so much and people online are horrific.”

Beckinsale is best known for playing Selene in the Underworld films, as well as her roles in Serendipity (2001), Pearl Harbor (2001), Van Helsing (2004), Total Recall (2012),  and Love & Friendship (2016), among other projects.

TV Insider reached out to Beckinsale’s reps, but did not immediately hear back.
