Are you ready for music's biggest night?

The 68th annual Grammy Awards are back on Sunday, Feb. 1 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles with Trevor Noah returning as host for a sixth year.

This year, viewers could watch some of their favorite artists make history, some show-stopping performances and a star-studded lineup of presenters.

Kendrick Lamar leads the nominations list with nine, with Lady Gaga and producers Cirkut and Jack Antonoff following close behind with seven apiece.

This year, the Grammys introduced two new categories: Best Album Cover and Best Traditional Country Album; the previously titled Best Country Album category has been changed to Best Contemporary Country Album.

“Each year during our Awards & Nominations review, our focus is on refining our rules, uncovering anything that is no longer working, and ensuring we are celebrating our creative community in the most meaningful way,” Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. recently told Grammy.com.

He added, “I'm thrilled that many of this year's changes … allow us to honor even more creators. That's always a positive outcome for me. But even more importantly, these are much-needed updates that ensure those who are making significant contributions to the musical process are properly recognized and have the opportunity to be celebrated on Music's Biggest Night."

Here's everything to know about music's biggest night.

This year, Bad Bunny could make history as the first Spanish-language artist to win Album of the Year. If Lamar or Tyler, the Creator wins Album of the Year, they would be the first solo male rapper to do so.

For the sixth consecutive year, Trevor Noah will be hosting the Grammy Awards.

In a press release announcing his return earlier this month, the awards show said it would be his "final" time.

During a press day at Los Angeles' Crypto Arena for the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, PEOPLE caught up with Recording Academy President Harvey Mason, Jr. as well as the show's producers Jesse Collins, Ben Winston and Raj Kapoor about what all is in store for this year's broadcast.

In the interview, Winston revealed that following last year's show long-time host Trevor Noah came to him and said "'Look, I've done a great five years. It's time to hand the microphone up to somebody else and move on.'"

But after searching high and low for a suitable replacement for this year, "it got to December and we hadn't found anybody that we absolutely love. I sent [Noah] a video and literally I was on my knees in this video and I said, 'Please look at this incredible lineup we've got on the show. The only thing that's missing is you, come back and do one final year.'"

He agreed to returning for his sixth and final year — but he did make Winston sweat: "It was the longest I've ever waited for a text to come back in my life!"

Mason Jr. said he's been the best man for the job. "Trevor has been so instrumental in the success or the recent growth of our show. He has set the tone for who we are and what we do on this night. So smart, so thoughtful, so funny. And he's just a music guy."
