President Donald Trump blasted his rivals in a Memorial Day post, and Fox News seemed completely unfazed by it, which angered the internet.

On May 25, Fox News host Griff Jenkins casually read out President Trump's post on Truth Social. Trump posted the brutal message on Memorial Day, which is a federal holiday meant to honor U.S. military personnel who died in the line of duty. In the post, Trump took the opportunity to mock his rivals, referring to the Democrats by the new nickname he has recently invented.

Trump initially wrote, "Happy Memorial Day to all, including the Dumocrats, who disrespect our military." This comes after the president boasted about his potential agreement that had been 'largely negotiated' with Iran.

Jenkins said, "The president also shared his thoughts on the holiday earlier today" before reading off the president's message as if it were a usual and common thing.

The host did not change a word, nor change his tone, after Trump claimed that the Democrats have disrespected "all the tremendous success that it has had over the last year."

Trump concluded, "God bless those that have made the ultimate sacrifice. I love you all!," which Jenkins stressed.

Trump posted his message on Truth Social ahead of his arrival at Arlington Cemetery.

However, viewers took to social media to slam Jenkins' casual reading of Trump's message, arguing the president's words were disrespectful to the military personnel who died.

One person said, "Fox News reads Trump's disgraceful Memorial Day post as though it's a normal presidential message."

Another person added, "Guy who got five draft deferments for bone spurs used Memorial Day to go after his enemies. Fox read it like scripture. Both on brand."

A third wrote, "Memorial Day used to honor the fallen. Trump made it about himself, and Fox polished the script. How sad for our veterans."

Despite the criticism, Trump still had a supporter who agreed with him and shared, "Remember the fallen. Honor the families still carrying the weight. That's it. That's what Trump did and what the Democrats forget to do."

Ahead of the broadcast, Presiden Trump appeared to have accidentally posted a private message on his Truth Social account.

The message appeared as a public post on Trump’s account around 7:40 a.m.. Trump stated, “Mike: Thank you for your nice words on Fox. We are on the same path. Keep up the great work. Good luck on the Show! President DJT."

Readers speculated that Trump was referring to Republican Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, who appeared on Fox & Friends Weekend on May 24. Johnson discussed the president’s potential peace deal with Iran as well as the recent shooting at the White House.
