Diana's brother 'warned Prince Harry 3 times' to reconsider Meghan Markle marriage

Prince Harry's uncle, Charles Spencer, allegedly "warned him three times" about his marriage to Meghan Markle, according to claims made in a book.
The Duke of Sussex wed his now-wife on May 19, 2018, at Windsor Castle, with an estimated 2 billion people worldwide tuning in to watch the ceremony. The couple began dating in 2016, becoming engaged just a year later in 2017.
However, author Tom Bower claimed that Harry's relatives on his mother Princess Diana's side harbored reservations about his growing closeness to the now-duchess. It comes afterHarry and Meghan made their maddest demand yet - and the King won't have it.

The author revealed that Diana's brother, Earl Spencer, along with her two sisters, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Baroness Jane Fellowes, cautioned their nephew regarding his intentions.
In his 2022 book, Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War between the Windsors, he wrote: "Harry had introduced Meghan to Diana's two sisters, Jane and Sarah, and her best friend Julia Samuel. Harry assumed that Diana's family and friends would see a similarity between Diana and his fiancée.

"Both, he said, shared the same problems. He was disappointed. No one agreed that his vulnerable mother had anything in common with his girlfriend."
"More discomforting for him, they thought Meghan would not fit in with the Royal Family," reports the Express.

Mr. Bower further stated: "Their unease was voiced by Charles Spencer, Diana's brother. At William's request, Spencer weighed in.
"Three times married, Spencer cautioned his nephew to reconsider his haste towards marriage. His advice provoked a bitter reaction. 'This was going to be really hard,' Harry would later reflect on establishing Meghan's place in the family."
The author revealed that Harry's uncle wasn't the only one who voiced reservations about the Sussex nuptials.
Meghan's previous talent agent, Gina Nelthorpe-Cowne, reportedly informed the duchess that she "wouldn't be able to make any more movies," if she joined the Royal Family through marriage.
The book states that Meghan's reply was: "Gina, save it,' Meghan snapped. Nelthorpe-Cowne was taken aback by the steel in Meghan's voice.
"Holding up her hand, Meghan continued: 'Stop. Be quiet. I don't want to hear any negativity. This is a happy time for us.' Stopped in her tracks, Nelthorpe-Cowne looked at the hard fury in Meghan's eyes."
Elsewhere, Meghan is 'furious' over William and Kate Middleton's 'influence' on King Charles.
