Claire Danes is finally sharing the name of her third baby

The actress revealed her youngest's name while appearing on Amy Poehler's podcast

Claire Danes is finally sharing the name of her third baby.

More than two years after welcoming her third baby with husband Hugh Dancy, the Homeland actress, 46, has revealed the name of her little one during an appearance on Amy Poehler's podcast Good Hang.

"I love watching toddlers dance when they jump [and] do the bouncing thing," said Danes. "And Shay, my baby, she's very in her head and dreamy and sometimes she'll do this kind of dance. I'm like, 'That's fabulous.'"

Later in the conversation, Danes mentioned her youngest again as she described embroidering onesies with all three of her kids.

"I have one for Shay, this third child," said Danes. "She doesn't wear onesies anymore. I've missed that chance. I'm confessing. I'm actually confessing to you. It's by my bed, half-done."

Alongside daughter Shay, Danes and Dancy are parents to 12-year-old Cyrus and 7-year-old Rowan.

Elsewhere in the podcast, Danes spoke about the moment she learned she was pregnant again at 44, recalling that she burst into tears upon hearing the news.

"I called my OBGYN in convulsive tears. It was a pure like ... meltdown," she shared, noting that each of her children are nearly five years apart. "None of this was by design. I didn't know it was physically possible. I was 44. And actually, Rowan was very hard-earned. I had to do two rounds of IVF."

Danes previously spoke on the Smartless podcast with Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes and Will Arnett and opened up about the emotionally complicated experience of getting pregnant in her mid-40s.

"I was so old when that happened. I was 44," Danes said, and admitted she "didn't think it was possible" to get pregnant by that age.

The star said she initially felt embarrassed when she learned she was pregnant, partly due to her age — and the stigma surrounding it — and partly since she and her husband weren't trying to have another baby.

"I did not foresee this at all. And it was weird. Suddenly, I felt like a funny shame,” she said. “I was naughty. I had been caught fornicating past the point I was meant to. No, it was weird, and it was like I found an edge that I hadn’t been quite conscious of — like I was going outside of the parameters a little bit."
