Charlie Woods' life might not be all that it seems, from his net worth to his success.
The 17-year-old is the son of PGA Tour legend Tiger Woods and has been working to make his own name in the sport, competing in tournaments and playing against some of the best young golf stars. That said, not all has gone well for Charlie as he works through the trials and tribulations of being a golf star.
Given his name, many believe that Charlie is already set for life and will have an easy go at golf. However, not all is as it seems for the teenager, especially in recent tournaments.

Charlie Woods' net worth
As Charlie continues his climb in the golf world, there was a moment in December 2024 that put his family and professional life squarely at the forefront. After scoring his first hole-in-one with his father looking on, a comment the younger Woods made waves.
"You're buying [a round of drinks] for everyone out here," the golf legend was overheard telling his son as they celebrated the accomplishment.
Charlie replied: "I'm not buying. I'm broke" — leading fans to wonder just what the rising star's net worth was, considering he is the son of arguably the greatest golfer of all time.

Charlie's net worth is estimated at around $25 million, according to Sportskeeda. What's more, the 17-year-old is claimed to have a trust fund in place, with $20 million rumored to be passed on to himself and his older sister, Sam Woods, by their father.
The teenager is also set to have two properties passed on to him in Florida and California when he turns 21. As he continues with his golf career, Charlie appears to have a number of endorsement deals, having worn clothing brand Greyson during tournaments.
The 17-year-old has also worn his father's brand, Sun Day Red, throughout his short career so far. It's clear that the teenager is well off, though he has struggled on the course.
Charlie's struggles
As he continues to make his name in golf, the younger Woods has not had the same success as his father. Recently, the 17-year-old failed to qualify for the U.S. Amateur at Ohio State University's Scarlet Course, an event that Tiger Woods won three times.
Charlie carded five-over 76 and missed the cut by six strokes, carrying his own bag throughout the round and competing against 80 other golfers. After missing out on the win, the youngster turned his attention to the U.S. Junior Amateur, though it appeared his struggles followed him to Pennsylvania.
Charlie's bid to reach match play ended in frustrating fashion Wednesday morning when a spectator's camera shutter clicked in the middle of his backswing during a crucial playoff hole.
At the time, he had earned a spot in a 14-for-2 sudden-death playoff after shooting rounds of 76 and 70 across two days of stroke play, tying for 63rd among the 264-player field. The top 64 golfers advanced directly to matchplay, and as he attempted his third shot, a loud camera clicked in the middle of his backswing.
After messing up his shot, all he could say was "Really, dude?" as another voice in the crowd added: "Right in his swing." He was unable to convert the birdie putt from 35 feet and registered a bogey on the hole, ending his outing. In the same tournament, the 17-year-old was spotted kicking away his club after an errant drive, showing just how frustrating the experience was for him.
