Anne Hathaway’s Red Ruffled Maternity Look Just Walked the Runway

Last Monday, Wes Gordon presented his Spring 2027 collection for Carolina Herrera, an ode to the past 45 years of the house and the women who have shaped its past and future. And less than a week later, one such woman—Anne Hathaway—stepped out in a custom version of one of the runway’s key looks.

Yesterday, the longtime friend of the label, who Gordon dressed for the 2025 Met Gala, turned to the new collection to help kick off the press tour for her forthcoming film, Verity. Arriving to a New York City press junket on September 18, Hathaway was photographed wearing a ruffled two-piece set—reimagined from a light-blue runway look in a vibrant ruby shade seen elsewhere in the collection.

The set, crafted from a ribbed knit, was composed of a crewneck short-sleeve top and matching pencil midi skirt. Bouncy, wavy, tiered hems defined the silhouette, which hugged Hathaway’s baby bump as she walked.

Working with stylist Erin Walsh, the star slipped into a pair of crystal-embellished stiletto sandals from Aquazzura and topped things off with a handful of Bulgari pieces—including a Serpenti bracelet and sunglasses. She left her long brown hair down in waves, embraced the bright hue of her fit with a coordinating red lip, and made her way out the door, ready to discuss all things Verity.

The film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s 2018 bestselling psychological thriller novel will hit theaters on October 2, with Hathaway portraying famous author Verity Crawford and Dakota Johnson taking on the role of Lowen Ashleigh, a struggling writer hired to ghostwrite a book for her.
