2027 Five-star recruit CJ Rosser considering BYU
BYU has been upping its basketball recruiting with AJ Dybantsa who is the projected top pick in the NBA Draft.
That momentum is continuing with No. 4 2026 prospect Bruce Brown III committing to Kevin Young's program.
Five-star power forward CJ Rosser is the No. 2 overall player in the 2027 Rivals150. He is a 6-foot-9 power forward from Southeastern (FL) Prep.
He has BYU on his list of teams he is considering and told Rivals, “BYU has been in touch a good bit.
Rosser has no visits set up at the moment, nor a time frame and said visits will come when the time is right.

He is currently also having conversations with Louisville, Kentucky, North Carolina, and N.C. State.
In his conversation with Rivals ($), he had this to say about the Cougars.
“Our relationship is pretty good,” Rosser said. “He just had AJ Dybantsa, so to see him with one of the number one players in the draft come in and take over, so that is a lot about where our recruitment is with BYU.
"Seeing them do what they did with him is good, but we have two different play styles, so I want to see how they plan to help me.”
One thing that Rosser wants from his college coach is to be looking at how they will help his future.Translation: He wants a program that will help him be ready for the NBA.
BYU fits that bill. Head coach Keving Young was an NBA assistant, and Cougars will have back-to-back top-10 draft picks.
